There are a great number of regional events in music and culture: the International Festival Echternach, the Dancing Procession, e-lake in Echternach, Art in Beaufort, regional markets, etc.

The Dancing Procession of Echternach

The Dancing Procession takes place every year on Whit Tuesday (Tuesday after Pentecost) and attracts between 10.000 and 12.000 pilgrims and visitors.

E-lake

Open air Festival of house and rock music at the lake of Echternach. Takes place in August. Rock concerts on Friday; house music from 3 pm until 3 am on Saturday; Disco music on Sunday.

Foyer Zwei Länder Marathon- october

The participants of the Marathon of Echternach run on the Luxembourgish side as well as on the German side. They run across Echternach, around the lake and then through the Valley of the Sure and the German-Luxembourgish Nature Park. The track is popular as it is fast, flat and very diversified.

Big market with regional products; takes place in November in the whole village of Berdorf (main road closed for traffic).

Culture-, Tourism- and Congress Center Trifolion in Echternach

Convention Centre with concert hall of a capacity for 600 auditors. Superb acoustics for live performances of all kinds. Next to this hall is a second one with impressive round gallery for 300 guests. Additional rooms of varying sizes are available for seminars or workshops.

Festival International Echternach

The International Festival Echternach takes place every year from May until June. New in the programme since 2008 are jazz concerts which take place in the Trifolion in September. The other concert „halls“ are the Basilika and the Peter and Paul Church in Echternach.
